Thankful Thursday

I'm turning 41 really soon. I have so much to be thankful for. the list would be too big, it wouldn't fit on a blog. But I thought about leaving you with a few thoughts, nothing major. It's a simple thought:

• If you have food to eat, a roof to sleep under and clothes to clothe yourself, you're richer than 70% of the world
• If you have money to spend and freedom to go places, you're part of the top 10% of the wealthiest people in th e world.
• If you're healthy, you're better off than more than 3 million people who won't survive this week.
• If you can read this message, you're more educated than half of the population in the world.
• Chances are, if you're reading this on a computer or phone, you are richer than 90% of the people in the world.

As I type this message on my macbook that is worth more than the income of a few families together for a whole year somewhere in the world, mirrored on this big screen that isn't cheap and have my phone sitting beside me I realize how fortunate I am. 

More than that, I'm doing all this, sitting in my home office, enjoying the repetitive sound of my daughter hitting the same key on the piano. Now that's a blessing!

I am sure you will agree with me, you have way more reasons to be thankful than to complaint. 

So do jjust that! Be thankful!
